Abstract
Three patients with an unusual radiological pattern of left lower lobe atelectasis are presented. Mechanisms of the usual and unusual patterns of atelectasis are discussed. Incomplete attachment of the inferior pulmonary ligament to the hemidiaphragm is apparently the reason for the collapsed lobe appearing as a paraspinal mass. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
