Unaromatized Androgen is Taken Up by the Neonatal Rat Brain: Two Receptor Systems for Androgen

Abstract
Data are presented which suggest that testosterone or one of its unaromatized metabolites act on at least three areas of the rat brain during the period of sexual differentiation. In addition, it is proposed that there are two androgen receptor systems in the brain responsible for nuclear uptake and retention of androgen.
