Abstract
An analysis of CP-violating effects in → is outlined. Some tensor observables sensitive to CP-odd couplings arising from possible electric or weak dipole moments ,d of the τ are presented. For the case where both τ’s decay via τ→π we estimate the accuracies with which d and can be measured at the Z resonance and at a τ-charm or B factory, respectively.
