Abstract
The adiabatic expansion of the free-field propagators is implemented in an anti–de Sitter background for the massless Wess-Zumino model and found to be inadequate to compute finite quantum corrections to the effective action. A supersymmetric-invariant-mass term is produced radiatively. We discuss its implications in terms of the breakdown of the no-renormalization theorem. Keywords
