Abstract
A series of macrocyclic thioether diester compounds of fourteen‐seventeen‐membered rings have been prepared from oxalyl, malonyl, substituted malonyl, succinyl, and substituted succinyl, chlorides and various dithiaglycols (compounds 1–12). A twelve‐membered macrocyclic thioetherdithiolester (compound 13) was also prepared from thiadiglycolyl chloride and 2‐mercaptoethyl sulfide.Keywords
