Abstract
The diagnostic approach in cases of expanding renal lesions is reviewed on the basis of 106 patients with cystic lesions. Differential diagnostic aspects of cysts, tumor masses and cystic tumors are given. Ultrasound examination is considered to reduce the need of nephroangiography otherwise required. The value of nephroangiography with angiotensin in equivocal cases is emphasized. Keywords
