Abstract

The application of 6 tons of NaNO3 as a side-dressing to spinach growing on a sandy loam soil of medium fertility markedly delayed seedstalk development under a natural photoperiod of 15 hrs. The importance of the level of soil fertility in photoperiodic expts. is emphasized.
