Abstract
Results from three trials in which 4,810 eggs were incubated showed no relation between current rate of lay and fertility following artificial insemination of the chickens. The correlation coefficients calculated from data on individual pullets were statistically nonsignificant, being +0.071, +0.144 and ‐0.040 for the first, second and third trials, respectively. There was also no significant correlation between current rate of lay and hatchability. Keywords
