Abstract
Clinical and Biomedical Applications of New Molecular Concepts in Hormone ActionMajor contributions to knowledge of the mode of action of the sex steroids made over the past decade have generated a series of observations that can now be related to medical theory and practice of medicine. The resulting concepts are important to an understanding of medical pharmacology, physiology, pathology, diagnosis and therapy.Pharmacologic ConsiderationsHormone antagonists have played an important part in the elucidation of the mechanism of action of the sex steroids. Conversely, understanding of the basic biochemical actions of hormones makes it possible to postulate and document . . .This publication has 59 references indexed in Scilit:
