Abstract
This paper describes a continental (Australian) data set standardised on geodetic grid cells and its associated mapping capability. The linking of numerical taxonometric and land use planning packages to this data set adds regionalisation capabilities to the more traditional computer mapping techniques of geographic information systems. Keywords
