Abstract
The design and operating conditions of catalytic sensing elements for the detection of gases are discussed. Gases which can be measured by these elements include low concentrations of flammable and toxic gases and atmospheric oxygen concentrations. Methods of obtaining increased sensitivity and selectivity towards different gases are described. Keywords
