Abstract
In this paper the equilibria of an urban retail model based on the principle of gravitation are studied. It is shown, among other things, that a positive equilibrium exists and is unique when the parameter α of the model is less than 1; for α equal to 1 a sufficient condition for uniqueness is given. Keywords
