Abstract
A self-consistent band-structure calculation using LAPW is performed for Ag2F which has a layered hexagonal structure. It is found that the material has two Fermi surfaces: a large and cylindrical one and a small and ellipsoidal one. The dispersion curve around the Fermi energy is like that of a nearly free electron. These results are consistent with the recent transport measurement. Keywords
