Abstract
We show the pantrppical tribe Mictini to be polyphyletic, and we separate it into 3: Mictini (s.s.) Amyot and Serville (Old World), Nematopodini Amyot and Serville (New World), and Acanthocerini Bergroth (New World). These tribes do not appear to be closely related to one another. We list the genera now placed in each tribe. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
