Abstract
Cross sections for ν+13C reactions are calculated both for charged- and neutral-current reactions in order to estimate the efficiency of a C13 target as a solar neutrino detector. The relevant transition matrix elements are obtained using the semiphenomenological effective-operator approach for p-shell nuclei. Keywords
