Preleukemia in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Abstract
A patient who presented with preleukemia evolving into acute lymphoblastic leukemia is described. The preleukemic phase was characterized by a positive acidified serum lysis test (Ham test). The connection between an erythromyeloproliferative disorder and a lymphoproliferative disorder is discussed.
