Abstract
Three simple methods (adapted from optical techniques) for normal and pathological elastic tissue characterization by EM on thin and ultrathin sections are proposed. Two of these methods (orcein and fuchsin resorcin) seem to have a specificity for arterial [atheromatous] and breast cancer elastic tissue. Weigert''s method gives the best contrast. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
