Abstract
Mice of the black agouti C3H XAF1 hybrid cross were injected with 5 X 105 U [alpha]-MSH twice daily. Hair regrowing in shaved and plucked areas during the period of injections was black in color. The significance of this finding and Its relationship to the circulating agent promoting hair darkening in animals bearing a previously described transplantable pituitary tumor are discussed. Keywords
