Abstract
For 10 correlation matrices taken from Harman, a measure of the average intercorrelation proposed by Kaiser (γ) was compared with the mean, the median, and the average using Fisher's r-to-z transformation. The differences among the four measures were generally small but they appeared to be systematic. Keywords
