Abstract
A new technique for the observation by light microscope of unfixed fungal material. This new technique is particularly useful for taxonomic studies on fungi. The cover slide is substituted by an adhesive transparent ribbon in this way saving labor in the preparation and recycling of the slides. The proposed method allows a good microscopic resolution while leaving undamaged the fine mycelial structures.
