Abstract
Nalidixic acid is effective in the treatment of genitourinary tract infections caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus, and other gram-negative bacteria. However, susceptible organisms may become resistant during therapy. The incidence of gastrointestinal and allergic reactions is low, but various neural disturbances have been reported occasionally. Keywords
