Abstract
Typical symptoms of black tongue were produced in dogs by feeding a modified Goldberger ration. Preparations of hepatoflavin prepared from liver extract were found to be completely inactive in the prevention or cure of black tongue. Fractions prepared from liver extract which were rich in vitamin G(B2) and from which the hepatoflavin had been removed through adsorption on fuller's earth were very active in the cure of black tongue. Keywords
