Abstract
Splenic fine-needle aspiration is a simple, safe bedside procedure by which cells typical of the sarcoid granuloma can be rapidly detected. Not only does it appear to be a valuable diagnostic procedure, but it offers a reliable method for demonstrating multisystem involvement in sarcoidosis. Keywords
