Abstract
The nuclear behavior of C. crotalariae [pathogenic to peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) and sweet-gum seedlings (Liquidambar styraciflua L.)] associated with sporulation was studied. Asci are produced from typical croziers, and directly by conversion of the binucleate basal cell into an ascus. A single holoblastic conidium is produced from the tip of the conidiogenous cell.
