Two Antigens of High Molecular Weight: Hemocyanins of Limulus Polyphemus and Fulgur Caniculatus

Abstract
Summary: The ratio by weight of antibody to antigen in the equivalence zone was determined for two hemocyanins, Limulus polyphemus and Fulgur caniculatus, and compared with that predicted by the authors' formula connecting this ratio with the molecular weight of antigen. The results, 1.23 (σM = 0.067), and 0.68 (σM = 0.025) are significantly lower than the predicted results but definitely of the right order of magnitude.
