Abstract
One of the critical problems of Chinese data processing is to make a computer produce Chinese characters as output. This paper describes a language called LCCD, which is especially intended for high quality design of Chinese characters, although it can in fact be used for any kind of symbols. Special attention is given to the methodology of character design, using a parametric graphical approach. The underlying methods of implementation are also discussed. Keywords
