Abstract
Penicillin resistance determinants and genes for other biochemical characteristics are transferred between S. epidermidis strains using recently isolated S. epidermidis bacteriophages Ph9, Ph10 and U14. The genes controlling penicillinase synthesis are apparently linked to the genes responsible for aerobic fermentation of mannitol and ribose.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
