Abstract

The first acyclic alkenylxenon(II) compound, trifluorovinylxenon(II) tetrafluoroborate, was prepared from XeF₂ and trifluorovinylboron difluoride and characterized by ¹³C, ¹⁹F and ¹²⁹Xe NMR spectroscopy.
