Abstract
In a recent communication we reported the results of a preliminary investigation into the use of organic liquids as fuels in flame spectroscopy. The method of production of such flames is relatively simple, the organic liquid is aspirated directly into a conventional premix burner system using air as the nebulizing gas. The gaseous and organic aerosol mixture so produced nay then be ignited in the normal manner. The analyte is introduced into the flame by means of a second nebulizer. Keywords
