Abstract
Analog position analyzers for a position-sensitive microchannel plate detector (MCP-PSD) have been simply constructed by use of fast operational amplifiers and an IC divider such as AD534K or AD734B. The analog division circuit with the AD734B shows extremely fast response to input pulses and has a wide dynamic range from 30 mV to 10 V. This circuit is found to be applicable to atomic collision experiments. Keywords
