Abstract
Unsuccessful attempts to use the Ag-AgCl electrode for the potentiometric detn. of chloride in biological fluids are described. This electrode can be used for the rapid and accurate detn. of chloride in simple non-biological fluids. A simple calomel half-cell suitable for this purpose is described. The poisoning effect on the electrode of various substances was investigated. The effect of glycine on the electrode was also investigated. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
