Abstract
The anomalous magnetic moment of the intermediate nucleons has been included in a treatment of the two-photon decay of the . It is found that this inclusion leads to a shorter, rather than a longer, lifetime, thereby failing to reduce the discrepancy between the experimental and previous theoretical values.
