Abstract
Jensen rat sarcoma (inj. of minced material) was used in exps. with 163 rats. On the average, the ratio of pituitary dry wt. to brain wt. was usually smaller in groups of animals bearing tumors than in those without. There may be a connection between the diminution of the pituitary and the increase in the size of the spleen in tumor-bearing rats. The relative wt. of the [female] pituitary was greater than the [male].This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
