Abstract
We present a device for developing simple event-driven programs to control robotic toys. To construct a program, the user connects events to actions to be taken in response to those events. We represent these associations as pictures connected by pieces of physical string. This work is one of our initial explorations of the use of string in tangible user interfaces. Keywords
