Abstract
When the transverse advancement technique of ureteral reimplantation [for treatment of congenital anomalies of the ureterovesical junction] is used the submucosal tunnel is made transversely across the base of the bladder. This method was used for reimplantation of 131 ureters in 92 children. The transverse advancement technique is adaptable to virtually any situation requiring ureteral reimplantation and is a simple, safe and reliable procedure for prevention of reflux. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
