Abstract
Fusarium tricinctum Fn-2B was grown on a rice substrate at room temperature (22 to 26°C) for 2 weeks followed by growth at a low temperature (10 to 12°C) for an additional 2 weeks. A total of 1.5 g of nivalenol and 80 mg of fusarenone-X were obtained from 2 kg of rice culture. The methods of production, extraction, and purification are described. Keywords
