Abstract
In 294 children given vit. A and D concentrates for 6 mos. in daily doses equivalent to 1 oz. high grade cod liver oil, the rate of growth was little better, susceptibility to infection and resistance were unaffected, as compared with 281 controls, all on a diet otherwise grossly inadequate. Since the addition of milk and vitamins in another exp. in the same school produced better results, it appears that the vitamins left some dietary deficiencies unconnected. Keywords
