Abstract
Experiments with the PLT 2.45 GHz system show that lower hybrid waves launched from the top of the tokamak torus are about half as effective for current drive as an identical spectrum of waves launched from the outside of the torus at intermediate densities (1 − 2 × 1013 cm−3)Keywords
