Abstract
Many older persons cannot wear their dentures because traumatic ulcers develop under them. They go without their dentures and do not eat properly. Poor diet causes further degeneration of oral tissues and a vicious cycle that is hard to break. Gerodontic problems are especially common in postmenopausal women.Keywords
