Abstract
This paper reports a new method of calculating the field, ion flow and the conductor surface gradient of HVDC transmission lines in the presence of space charge. This method is applied to experimental conditions of corona losses and RI and a quantitative analysis is performed of space charge effects on RI.Keywords
