Abstract
Urinary 17-ketosteroid (KS) was low in 11 cases of Sjogren''s syndrome in women between 36 and 71 yrs of age as compared with the normal for 25 years old. Ankylosing spondylitis in 6 patients between 26 and 42 had no effect on the total 17-KS excretion. Similar comparisons were made with fractions of the total 17-KS, the beta fraction appearing to be particularly low in Sjogren''s syndrome. Keywords
