Abstract
Eccrine poroma, an unusual cutaneous tumor with features that resemble those of the intra-epithelial portion of the sweat gland duct, has been repeatedly described as a tumor of the "non-hairy surface of the hands and feet." We had the opportunity to study an eccrine poroma removed from the skin of the back. This communication summarizes the characteristic features of the eccrine poroma and the literature reviewed. Our case is the first found on the hair-bearing skin. Keywords
