Abstract
Evidence is presented to show that the 23S component of Escherichia coli ribosomal RNA contains three principal alkali-stable dinucleotide sequences, GxpGp, CxpCp, and UxpGp, whereas the 16S component contains one major alkali-stable dinucleotide sequence which has been tentatively identified as N4MeCxpCp.Keywords
