Magnetische Kernresonanz zur Beobachtung des Al, Si-Ordnungs/Unordnungsgrades in einigen Feldspäten

Abstract
The nuclear magnetic resonance technique was used to study electric quadrupole interactions of Al27 and Na23 with the crystalline fields of some feldspars. In microcline and albite well resolved resonance lines due to Al27 and Ka23 were found. In sanidine a smeared out spectrum was observed. Albite and microcline after being kept at a temperature around 1050°C for periods of weeks yielded magnetic resonance spectra which very closely resembled that of sanidine. The change of these spectra is interpreted as due to a tranformation of an ordered Al/Si distribution to a disordered one in these two materials.
