Abstract
In this paper a map that associates with each matrix pencil another matrix pencil in canonical form for the strict equivalence of pencils (Kronecker canonical form) is defined. Then the pencils where this map is continuous are characterized. The continuity of the canonical form obtained for the equivalence of matrix quadruples and triples from the Kronecker canonical form of the corresponding pencils is studied. Keywords
