Abstract
An interesting interplay of H-bond and van der Waals-like interactions in a proximal calix[4]arene dihydroquinone derivative gives rise to a nanoporous supramolecular architecture with the simultaneous existence of water channels and very large hydrophobic cavities.Keywords
