Abstract
A magnetic interference function has been observed for an amorphous ferromagnetic cobalt-phosphorus alloy by unpolarized-neutron diffraction. The distribution of the magnetic moments of cobalt is analyzed in terms of a partial pair-correlation function. Comparison with x-ray results gives good agreement. Keywords
