Abstract
A new curve-fitting expression is presented for the space wave efficiency of rectangular microstrip antennas. It is derived from numerical results available in the literature, and is useful for substrates with relative permittivities between 1 and 12·8 and over the complete range of thicknesses which are normally used. The results are in conformity with those reported elsewhere. Keywords
