Abstract
Sodium heparin in saline solution is not absorbed from the duodenal loop of intestine in dogs. However, sodium heparin in citric acid sodium diphosphate buffer at pH 4 is absorbed to the extent of approximately 10% as measured by systemic anticoagulant effect and residual heparin in the gut. Keywords
