Abstract
Synopsis: Plowing a seedbed for corn following rye as a cover crop did not significantly increase corn yields over disking or seeding corn and mulching with rye. Removing rye before seeding corn or allowing the rye to grow after corn seeding ,significantly reduced corn yields. Controlling weeds with a hoe was as effective as cultivation and both were superior to no weed control. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
